From Maharaj Family | Feedback |
From when to when did she work for you: | BD commenced working for me in March 2016 until February 2025 |
Why is she no longer employed? | We are sad to have BD leave our family, but my 90-year-old father is in need of care and we now
need to move him into Buhle’s current room. It is in her best interests for Buhle to have an in-live job, hence why she is now leaving our family |
What were her Duties? | BD has adapted and grown to assist with childcare, managing our home and assisting with cooking. She is responsible for all domestic work in the home and cares for our indoor plants and animals.
She manages access to our home while we are not present – receiving deliveries, pool services and dog groomers. She has shown competence in all aspects of these domestic duties |
How was her personality at work? | She was lovely. I have built a trusting relationship with her. She is completely reliable, very hard working and totally trustworthy. |
What would you say your former employee needs more training in? | Post the birth of my first child in 2022 BD attended CPR and infant care training. S |
What did she excel in? | Her overall duties |
Loyalty to her work? | She was loyal to her work |
Was she mostly on time for work? | She was a live-in helper, and she sometimes worked overtime too |
How was her personality towards the kids and animals or the elderly in the house? | She bonded well with my children, ensuring that they’re well taken care of |
Her thoroughness? | I had no complaints about her cleaning abilities |
How many days in a week did she work? | She was a live-in full-time helper |
Did she cook? Example of the meals? | She makes breakfast for the family before work/ school. While she does
not cook full meals, she does prepare vegetables for dinner and assemble my toddler’s lunch and dinner. BD also prepares my daughter’s dinner during the week. Buhle ensures my daughter eats her meals at mealtime and avoids excessive snacks. |
Did she give notice when she resigned/ if applicable? | She did not need to as we retrenched her |
Would you recommend her services? | She has been a wonderful member of our family, and no doubt will be the same to a future employer. |
Communication skills? | They are good |
