Reference
From Du Preez family: A family member referred us to DVH as they knew we needed assistance. She helped us a lot with our son. She assisted us for about her year. I would describe DvH as a helpful and outgoing person who enjoys reading a lot. She has never stole or borrowed any money from us. My son is quadriplegic so learned pretty fast on what to do during his physiotherapy and how to handle him. In my opinion, she never really got to rest when she was caring for my son, so I’d understand if the job got too much for DvH. Overall, she is someone I would recommend.
From Behuizenhout family: DvH was a carer for my mother. I also work at the hospital, so I got to know her through colleagues. DvH was my saviour. She did basically everything with my mother. Old people can be pretty difficult, but she knew how to handle her well. DvH is a people-person. She was very interactive with my other; she read to her, played cards with her, did exercises with her. Even though my mom had Alzheimer’s, DvH still treated her like a human being, and I appreciated that. DvH did basically everything; cooking, cleaning, administering her medication. I made sure that every weekend, she got a break because I can imagine how tiring the job must have been. I recommend her, she is amazing.
