Duties:

Housekeeper duties

• Sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing where necessary and mopping the floors.
• Taking items out of the cupboards, wiping the shelves, and neatly organising the cupboards.
• Cleaning the toilets, and restocking restrooms.
• Moving furniture to clean underneath
• Washing laundry, ironing the laundry, and packing it in the cupboards.
• Washing curtains and bed linen.
• Washing dish and cleaning the fridge and freezer.
• Cooked meals as per Employers request.
• Informing my employer of any cleaning equipment, detergents etc needed to effectively do my job.

Cooked meals such as:

• Lasagne
• Oats
• Steamed vegetables
• Various salads
• Macaroni and cheese
• Roasted Chicken
• Steak
• Pap
• Mash Potatoes
• Cooked meals as instructed

Reason for leaving: Employer can no longer afford EM’s services

In addition to her exemplary work ethic, EM extended her compassion and support by providing care for her employer for nearly a year during a challenging period when her employer suffered from a foot injury resulting from Type 2 diabetes.
