I moved overseas this year for work, otherwise I would have kept her |

Housekeeping (cleaning the house).
General household admin (spreadsheets, admin support).
Looking after pets when I was away for work.
Occasionally cooked (though not often, since I lived alone).
Assisted during my recovery from knee replacement surgery. |

Always smiling, positive attitude, very willing to make changes when asked. She was like a “second child” to me |

None. I only trained her in how I liked things done when she started |

Taking pride in her work, being thorough, trustworthy, and very good with animals |
| Loyalty to her work? |
Extremely loyal. She worked with me for 7–8 years and was very committed |

Always punctual |
| How was her personality towards the kids and animals or the elderly in the house? |
I didn’t have kids or elderly in the house, but with my pets she was excellent—very caring, brushed and spoiled them, and was very comfortable around them |

Sometimes, but not often. She cooked once or twice but since it was just me, cooking wasn’t a big part of her duties |

Most definitely. I would “steal her back” if I returned to South Africa |
