From when to when did she work for you: | 2003 – 2023 |
Why is she no longer employed? | We relocated, I wish I was able to bring her with me, but she is married so can only take a live out position |
What were her Duties? | As a housekeeper she did everything:
· Washing walls · Windows · Laundry · Ironing · Organizing rooms · Dishes · Mopping · Basically everything a housekeeper can do and more. She would go above and beyond As a nanny she also assisted me with everything, she was there when I had my first baby. I could leave my babies with her to supervise. She can change nappies, do the feeding and help them sleep, bathe, look after them when they are sick, play outside and walk, she would lie on the ground and colour in pictures with them etc. She was there during the “terrible teen” years with my boys as well and I loved that she was there for support In terms of cooking my children still misses “Rosah’s pap” |
How was her personality at work? | Rosah is the best, she is like family to me. She is proud of her work as it is of the highest quality. She is so trustworthy and dedicated. I can be a bit OCD, and she managed me and my expectations of her exceptionally. I had a routine and instructions for her and she never disappointed. |
What would you say your former employee needs more training in? | Depends on the family that hires her but she was perfect for me. |
What did she excel in? | She may look small, but she is strong and perfectionistic when it comes to her work. She can move, she never sits still. |
Loyalty to her work? | She was there before my children where born to when they moved for varsity. She is incredibly loyal. Any family would be lucky to have her. |
Was she mostly on time for work? | Yes always |
How was her personality towards the kids and animals or the elderly in the house? | My kids miss her even now after they have grown up. We still message each other when our kids have birthdays. She was fully integrated in my children’s lives, and they love her lots |
Her thoroughness? | She is very dedicated and thorough, yes. As mentioned before, my standards are high, and she never disappointed me |
How many days in a week did she work? | She worked Monday to Friday 7:30 to 15:00 and occasional weekends if I had an event and needed her help so she is very flexible. |
Did she cook? Example of the meals? | She can do absolutely anything. She makes amazing boerekos |
Did she give notice when she resigned/ if applicable? | NA |
Communication skills | Fantastic and good with scheduling if she needs time off, she will let you know well in advance, but she rarely took off much. |
Pets | We always had pets, they loved her, and she loves them. She gave the dogs treats so they where always happy when they saw her. When we went on holidays she would care for them. I would leave her the keys and remote and she would even water my plants. |
