| From when to when did she work for you: | I can’t remember because I just know that she worked for almost five years, and then we left. Two years we went to Mossel Bay, and we back She worked for a while for me. |
| Why is she no longer employed? | She is still with me now. |
| What were her Duties? | I actually taught her to cook. She did washing, she did everything. She’s a very good cook. When I was lying in the bed, I couldn’t stand up, she assisted me, the washing, she’s ironing. She’s doing everything. She knows how to work with a washing machine, a tumble dryer, stove, everything. she knows everything. And every time when we go away, she came and stayed at my place in my house, and she looked after my dogs. |
| How was her personality at work? | she is really, really, really a good, good lady. she’s like a child for me. She grew up in my house actually. |
| What would you say your former employee needs more training in? | She is good with everything. |
| What did she excel in? | She’s a very good working housekeeper. She cleans really. I’ve got chairs here, she takes off the cover, she washes it, she scrub it, she put it back. She can do everything. She’s also a very good cook. |
| How was her personality towards the animals or the elderly in the house? | I’ve got five dogs. She’s looking after them when I’m not here. When I was lying in the bed, I couldn’t stand up, she was helping me the washing, she’s ironing. She’s doing everything. |
| Her thoroughness? | Yeah, she’s cleaning very nice. I’ve got chairs here, she take off the cover, she wash it, she scrub it, she put it back. When my vacuum cleaner broke, she’s sweeping everything and I’ve got the dogs in the house. I cannot complain about her |
| How many days in a week did she work? | She worked five days a week. Then we came down to three days a week. And I said to her, okay, she can work two days a week for more money. But if she worked one day, then I can pay her more |
| Would you recommend her services? | Very, very good. Very. |
| Communication skills? | Very good.”
“She’s talking English, but she can understand Afrikaans very well.” |
