| Why is she no longer employed? |
The only reason I let Pumza go was because my children had graduated. At one stage I had three children at home, but eventually I had none living in the house anymore, and I was travelling often. I simply didn’t need full-time help anymore. It broke my heart to let her go. |
| What were her Duties? |
Her duties included cooking, cleaning, and basically managing the household in terms of domestic work. |
| How was her personality at work? |
Pumza was bright and happy. My house was full of joy, and she fit into that wonderfully.
Every day we greeted each other with happiness. She had a great personality and was always open to learning.
One of the challenges I used to encounter working with other domestics was that some people can feel intimidated because of language barriers. That wasn’t Pumza at all.

| What would you say your former employee needs more training in? |
I taught her how to improve her cooking, and it was a great experience to share with her. |
| What did she excel in? |
She cooked wonderfully. I taught her how to cook, and she became brilliant and very independent in her cooking. Pumza was outstanding. Anything she didn’t know, I taught her, and she learned it beautifully |
| Loyalty to her work? |
Yes extremely. |
| Was she mostly on time for work? |
Yes, and if she was going to have any transport issues she would communicate efficiently and on time. |
| How was her personality towards the animals in the house? |
I had two massive Rottweilers; she fed them and cleaned up after them. She didn’t really walk them, but she was very comfortable around them |

She was great and did everything to the best of her ability. |
| How many days in a week did she work? |
5 days a week |
| Did she cook? Example of the meals? |
Yes, she cooked lamb curry. I’m American, so she also cooked American-style meals like pork chops and other dishes that I like. She also cooked South African food, including lamb stew. She could cook anything from a recipe. |
| Did she give notice when she resigned/ if applicable? |
She did not need to give notice. |
| Would you recommend her services? |
Yes, she’s very dependable, reliable, and communicative worker. |
