| What were her Duties? | Caroline was initially appointed as a domestic worker and those remained her primary responsibilities. Over time, she took on additional duties, including house-sitting and looking after the property when the family was away. She also assisted with the grandchildren at times. She completed a cooking course and became very capable in the kitchen. We occasionally operated a small coffee shop on the farm, where she helped serve customers. We also sold olive oil, and she assisted customers with sales and service. Overall, she is versatile and willing to help wherever needed. |
