| From when to when did she work for you: | She worked for me for approximately five to seven years, possibly seven years. She worked on both a full-time and part-time basis. |
| Why is she no longer employed? | My husband and I got divorced, and I could no longer afford to employ her full-time. Her working days were gradually reduced from full-time to four days a week, then three days a week, and eventually two days a week. I knew that working only two days a week would not be worthwhile for her. As she applied for other positions and attended interviews with agencies, she kept me informed. |
| What were her Duties? | Initially, she helped around the house with cleaning, washing and ironing. When I had children, she also started assisting with childcare. Her duties included general cleaning, deep cleaning, taking initiative, and caring for my two children. She participated in activities with them and supported their development as their needs changed. I also sent her to a Nanny and Me programme for gross and fine motor development. At one stage, when my ex-husband and I separated, my daughter attended online school, and Nazipa helped her with her schoolwork while I was working. |
| How was her personality at work? | She is a very bubbly and friendly person with a positive disposition. |
| What would you say your former employee needs more training in? | I am not sure what position she is applying for, so I cannot comment on what additional training she may need. When she worked in our home, my mother was very particular about how things had to be done because she has OCD. As a result, the training and expectations were quite specific. |
| What did she excel in? | She is very good with children and is also good at general cleaning, deep cleaning and taking initiative. She supported my children’s activities and developmental needs, including helping with online schooling. She is also comfortable around animals and has experience with dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits and cats. |
| Loyalty to her work? | She was trustworthy. I was comfortable leaving her alone with my children and my credit card. |
| Was she mostly on time for work? | Yes, she was definitely punctual. |
| Did she cook? Example of the meals? | She assisted with meal preparation. |
| Did she give notice when she resigned/ if applicable? | Yes, she gave notice when she resigned. |
| Would you recommend her services? | Yes. I think she is a really good person and very trustworthy. I believe trustworthiness is especially important when working around children, in people’s homes and around valuables. |
| Communication skills? | Yes, she communicated well. She kept me informed when she was applying for other positions and attending interviews. She also communicated openly about her circumstances and employment situation. |
